BYC members in Massachusetts?

Ok, she txt me today about another matter, so I asked her about hosting a swap. She is game, but needs to know what is involved.
I assume people pay a "set-up" fee to sell their stock. How much is that usually? What would be good dates to have it? Anything else she needs to do or provide?

I've not set up something like this. Only attended. What little I know---

The Tyngsboro one charges $5 for sellers; the Westboro one charges membership into the avian club.

Perhaps a date that doesn't conflict with those schedules. Tyngboro has been a little slow it getting going this year. Westboro doesn't meet for 2 of the summer months. Sat or a sun, rather than during the week.

Advertising is everything to draw people into the event. Any thoughts on that?

ANy thoughts on NPIP rules? Both swaps in TYngsboro and Westboro require NPIP papers or bands. Again, some fowl must be tested and others do not.

Thank you Arielle for the wonderful hatching eggs! Of the eight that we purchased we have had 5 hatch into health little peepees! Sadly, we lost one to a clumsy mom and the other two look like they won't make it. five out of effectively seven is not bad at all!
