Thank you! Maybe we could ask everyone to put info in their sig line?

What newspapers do you think? THe local townie publications? Maybe posters at the feed and needs stores??

I've not set up something like this. Only attended. What little I know---

The Tyngsboro one charges $5 for sellers; the Westboro one charges membership into the avian club.

Perhaps a date that doesn't conflict with those schedules. Tyngboro has been a little slow it getting going this year. Westboro doesn't meet for 2 of the summer months. Sat or a sun, rather than during the week.

Advertising is everything to draw people into the event. Any thoughts on that?

ANy thoughts on NPIP rules? Both swaps in TYngsboro and Westboro require NPIP papers or bands. Again, some fowl must be tested and others do not.

The Avicultural Society has it's sale and meeting in Westford, at the Sportsman's Club. Yearly membership is $20. There are no meetings/sales in July and August.

Yup posters at the feed stores are perfect, and any other places that will allow you to post up posters, if you work on a date time n place before the june meet in westford ley me know and I will make flyers to hand out at that meet :) , also I may be able to adk the new england bantam club if they will advertise in there news letter, they were goi.g to do it for me for the chickenstocks I was holding but didng have any planned so I gave them westfords info for in return I hand out flyers for them, so let me know.
Yup the town papers they should have a free

Did you say the 4h club is going to host it?, awsome if thats the case, for fundraisi.g basically you have a fee setup, also good idea to have setup for hot dogs stuff like that or even something like baked goods and drinks for sale ,also she should have someone ready at check in to check certifcates or cards

Oh waterfowl does not need testing, so if someones says I am onu srlli.g ducks, geese, duck geese eggs, swans anythi.g waterfowl, tjey dont need certificate or card or npip

I am wondering why nothing in July and Aug-- I have been selling duck eggs for eating at Westford and I would think that customer would like eggs all summer ( if the girls are laying). Perhaps other customers would buy in July and AUg also. Just curious.

I assume it is because it's usually hot during those months, and there's no shade.
