BYC pokemon club. Now with a banner(thanks to chicklover98!)

I think those are good choices. Staraptor is another popular flying type. I also like Swellow with the guts ability. I'm currently trying to make an "underused" team around the three orginal starters and maybe a Raichu

. I think I might put swellow as the lead.

Here's what you do

You breed an adamant or jolly Swellow with the ability Guts. Mine is Adamant I believe. You then put a Fire Orb on as its item.

The moveset looks something like this.....

Brave Bird (Flying, huge damage with STAB) (you'll have to breed this in from a staraptor or other flying pokemon)
Facade (Normal, huge damage with STAB)
Protect
U Turn (Bug, for super effective or switching out)

The first thing you do is let off a protect. This scouts the opponents moves or strategy and allows you to become burned without also taking a hit. Once you are burned your modest 85 base attack jumps to 127ish with 125 base speed (which is pretty uber speed). You can then have two hard hitting moves and if you don't want to take the enemies attack you can U Turn (likely you'll be faster) and then swap into something else that is well suited to whatever is coming. The additional advantage to this is your Swellow, once burned, is effectively immune to sleep.

This is the team I beat Black with (2nd time through). It took quite a while to breed decent starters.....I can't believe I spent time breeding a decent Raichu

. The idea was to get an "Ash Ketchum" themed neverused/underused team for use in competition. I debated keeping Raichu a light ball Pikachu but I figured I'd like to be able to survive one hit. The krookodile was added at the end since I needed a dark type for the final 4 and also wanted a ground type. I'd love to keep him on the team but I doubt krookodile is underused

. At least I lucked out when breeding it and got a fairly decent one in like 30 minutes, so it will end up on some team of mine. I think what I'd really like is a decent Tauros for the last slot. Problem is I don't have a good ditto and its almost impossible to just catch a good one in a reasonable amount of time..... I do have decent male and female original starters now, dragonites, evees and a few others which makes most breeding easy at this point.

It's been a while since I posted here…
I am currently defeating the elite 4 on platinum, I recently got a second copy preowned, as I lost my first one. I have and Infernape, Honchkrow, Pelipper, Abomasnow, Dusclops and a Seaking.

Okay so my wife bought 3 hermit crabs. They are very cute and we were thinking of names. Naturally Pokemon came up.... Krabhammer, Kribby Crabby, Crustle..... all fine hermit crab names

. But, them I got thinking that now there are enough "crab-like" Pokemon that you could make a fairly balanced team. Well it may not be totally balanced but it could be fun and would definitely make people do a double take. Scizor is a bit of a stretch...but he is red and does have crab hands

The other alternative would be Gliscor who would give you a more balanced team but he is purple.....but he does have claws

I have that game!!! Espeon, Arbok, and Zangoose are my best pokemon. I'm really good at that game. Lost count of how many times I've finished it. That reminds me...I want to go play it! If I can find it
