BYC Poultry Knowledge Quiz

Welcome to the first ever BYC Poultry Knowledge Quiz! Here is a opportunity for you to show off your knowledge of poultry for a chance to win one of three prizes! The quiz will include questions about breeds, anatomy, genetics, colors, parasites, diseases, medications, nutrition, incubation, etc. Some of the questions will be easy, others will harder.

Here's how it works: On Saturday, July 24th at 12 pm California Time (3 pm Eastern, 2 pm Central, 1 pm Mountain, 12 pm Pacific) I am going to start updating post #2 with the Poultry Knowledge questions. Questions will have a point value associated with them and a new question will be posted a approximately every 1-2 minutes. The first member to respond with the correct answer will get the points. At the end of the challenge, all the points will be tallied and the winners will be announced.

A few tips and rules:

1. Open 2 or 3 windows (or use tabbed browsing if you have it). Keep one window open to contest post #2, this is where the questions will be posted, and use the other windows to search for your answers. The questions will all be posted in post #2.
2. Keep an eye on post #2, and a new question will be put up approximately every 1-2 minutes, or after the previous question has been answered.
3. Post and number your answers to each question so we can more easily tally the score. Only answer one question per post, please!
4. Don't post pictures or custom emojis during the quiz (we do not want to slow anyone down).
5. Don't edit your post. If you change your mind you can post again. Edited posts will not count.
6. Whoever answers first with the correct answer will win a point. One point for each correct answer - that's it. Whoever wins the most points WINS!
