Thank you bunches!! I have a couple sets of the I-spy fabrics from the swap we did. I've been thinking of what to do with my last set. Now I know!!

Thanks goldenluver for posting that link!

If you do a google image search on disappearing 9 patch it is interesting to see how people have used the pattern differently. It can look very organized or totally scrappy depending on how you use it.

It's really easy to and is a quick process. I'm using it on another baby quilt I'm making now. I just cut out all the squares last night. I'm excited about this one... I like the colors I'm using a little better so that helps too.

You'll have to share yours when you get it done, CoyoteMagic!

I will. I have to get through the stack of things I need to finish. I'm falling behind. Again!

Verthandi thank you for the fabric, it's being handled,, ooohed and ahhhhhd over by the kids as I type!

We are getting a visit from the Ranchoescondido Quilter's Guild Wednesday at 2:30!!!

Glad they could use it. It was such a relief to get some of my fabric shelves a little less crowded. I can't image who will have more fun on Wednesday, the quilting group or your students.

Hey y'all 9 patch disappearing... can't find the pattern. I'm sure it will show up when I'm not looking for it. I also may have given it to my recently retired Momma who needs something to do with the stash taking up and entire room.

So while I was searching for patterns and pulling out my hairs... I finished a few thing on the embroidery machine (you know since you can multi-task during the 'print out'). At one time I had the bread machine, washer, dryer, self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, embroidery unit, back-up sewing machine, and answering machine all going at once. I LOVE engineers (that's why I'm married to one). Too bad I have a french press, otherwise the coffeemaker would have been going too. But I don't have one.

Here's what I've been doing....

, napkins with a sweet A, and my scalloped placemats (to fit my tiny table and bartop, and now I have two sets of these). I also made a gift for an exchange and I forgot to take a picture of those.... hopefully she will. I can't give it away just in case she knows or suspects me since I'm very late in sending them out.
