Great idea. I will look for a quilting shop around here. Walmart is the only place I know of that sells fabric. I didn't think of looking up a fabric shop. I was thinking of saving my baby boys clothes as he outgrows them and making a quilt out of them. I will also do a search for quilting guilds. I bet I can find somebody at church who quilts also and maybe get some help that way. Thanks everyone!

Just finished a block for a swap I really like it, think I will make it again. It is called Santa Fe and suppose to be an "antique" block, but I thought it looked so fresh and modern.

Ooooo! I really love that! I don't think I've ever seen that pattern. Fabric is fabulous!

Very nice! I particularly like the bottom one. I assume it is pieced in strips? How big is the block?

I love that pattern too, it is called convergence, this is a 12.5 block, it is usually done in bigger sizes, but I just love it in this size too.

Yes you posted it on the Christmas in October thread I believe. Do you sew it in strips across? I really love it. I would like to try it sometime.
