Thank you Chicknj for the box of goodies the kids just loved it!!~ It really was touching because one of my girls is just not used to kindness from strangers and she literally started crying because she can't fathom the kindness she's seen from this group of people on BYC. I'm hoping that I've thanked everyone I need to, those that have made donations, sent wonderful letters, supported my Donorschoose projects. If I haven't mentioned you by name it's either because you asked me not to, which some did, or because I dropped the ball and I sure haven't meant to.

Trust me,, one of me is all the world can handle! It's funny though, I've had offers from a lot of schools, and all of them have mentioned being interested in my after school activities with the kids.

We got our box of donations from Robert Kaufman Fabrics today, we just about fainted when we opened it!! I thought a little package or small box of left overs,, NO!! They are almost generous as you guys are! They sent a huge box with samples that are over a yard of good, nice, perfect fabric! They sent strips, they sent hanging fabric sample swatches,, I've never seen swatches bigger than a FQ before! The flannel pieces are the perfect size for a child's blanket or a lap blanket for a wheelchair patient. I had crying kids again,, the generosity they've seen has really touched them deep inside and made a lasting impression on all of them.

I don't know if you all have Hancock Fabrics where you live or not but they had 100% cotton material today at 99 cents a yard and the 4.99 a yard was 70% off with some good solid colors. Nothing that is designed up but solid colors. I am so thankful that there are people out there in this world that helps others along the way.

We don't have a Hancocks, we have a Joann's somewhere in El Paso,, not a big choice around here!
