BYC Spinning Fiber

They are going to be great pets for my son. He already loves them. If they both have babies, I will have some for sell when they are ready. I wish I could keep them all, but I can't. I already have one spoken for. My sister is excited about getting one.

I have a small, white Jersey Wooly rabbit and I save his fur everytime I brush/pluck him.

....anyone want it? I think there are at least two sandwich sized ziplock bags full.

I can mail it.

OMG OMG, I LOVE that seaweed yarn

It's gorgeous!

Lovely bunnies to the person who has them (I forgot who posted it).. I have a French Angora buck that is registered and everything that was given to me for free recently. He is amazing and so beautiful. He was matted to the skin when I got him and had to be completely shaved down the poor guy but now he is on his way to re-growing me some beautiful fiber. He's already got about 2" re-grown. I've had him nearly two months. The prior owner claimed he hated to be groomed and would growl and nip but he is the sweetest guy and loves being brushed and loved on. They were just lazy.
I am now searching high and low for a mate for him with no luck so far. Hopefully I find a doe for him soon!

Can you spin horse hair (mane and tail)? I'm thinking of making dream catchers and that would be great to use. I could send some if someone wanted to try. Also could we see some pics on that peacock yarn?

Mullerslanefarm I'm still wanting to come visit dumb car.

Also how many yards and how much for the seaweed yarn?

ninny,

Yes, horse tail/mane can be spun. It would be a very stiff yarn though.

The peacock yarn is long gone! No pics either

I'll have to measure the Seaweed yarn. I have the 2 skeins shown and another 1 or 2 skeins of it.

I'll get back to you!
