I have never shipped an animal. I would have to figure out how too. Anyone have any ideas? I have heard to people shipping them all over.
 
Sounds like it would be lots of money to ship one.

I'm not worried about that per-say...
My buck rabbit was given to me for free, but the woman who gave him to me paid $150 for him from his breeder...

So, if I bought Hazel from you for $50ish and then paid $100-$150 or so for shipping to me, it's still worth it and I'm willing to entertain the idea if you will find out more about it. You should only need to call your airport and give them my zip code (02816) and my local airport (T.F. Green in Warwick, Rhode Island) to see a estimate cost. They will plug it into their computer and probably the weight of the rabbit...

Too bad we couldn't get a bunch of BYCers to make a train and drive her from you to me

That would be cool! There have got to be members in every state from you to me! LOL

In the end I'd still end up with a pair of pure French Angora's for whatever I paid for Hazel since Peter was free. Not too shabby IMO.


*I have had puppies shipped to me before and in my experience Delta is always great with animals. Not sure if you have them at your airport.
