Ooohh! I'm so excited about receving the blocks! Can't wait till Amy says they are on their way!!!

Well, I can breath easy now. The post office internet tracking says my blocks were received. Now I can find something else to worry about.

Yep, I worried about my blocks too! I might have even lost a wink of sleep over them!

Doesn't seem like I can go through my day without having SOMETHING to fuss about.

I’ve had an upset stomach for the last week.

I think it was because I was worried I couldn’t get the blocks done. I feel so good today.

After they were all done I was thinking, boy if I miss it and Amy has to send them back that will be ok. I can just make a quilt out of my own.

I'm glad to see I'm not the last one. LOL Sorry for holding you all up and thanks for being patient. After I got them done I was thinking, maybe I will do these again if I could find the fabric to match playing cards like, hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs. Has anyone seen fabric like that?

I would imagine you could google card playing/poker fabric and be busy for hours and hours looking!! There seems to be no end to the designs on fabric and poker is sooo popular I am sure there must be some!! Good luck

OH MY! I sure don't want swappers getting sick or loosing sleep over deadlines.

At this point, I've heard from everyone but 2 swappers that they are finishing up and will get their blocks out and I will wait for those to arrive before swapping. Please don't feel pressured.

hehe. I didnt' lose too much sleep over them. I only worried about them from the time I dropped them off at the PO until the time they reached you!

So last Tuesday I went to the PO with my blocks. I Explained what I was doing and the dip stick put the postage on both envelopes. I was writing out my check while he put everything in the envelopes. SO GUESS WHAT I GOT TODAY IN THE MAIL. MY BLOCKS. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT.

I took it to the PO and explained what happened. Of course he was not there and they would do nothing about it.

So I said never mind, took my blocks and drove 15 miles to another PO. I sent it overnight, it cost $25.05 plus the $4.59 to send it to me. And after I paid for overnight she said it will get there Saturday. I am sorry for holding everyone up.

Oh Gin... I hate that you paid that much to overnight that package, especially after you had paid to ship it the first time and it won't even truly be overnighted! You should have just sent it regular Priority. I think Amy is still waiting on a few more people's blocks anyways.

Gin please keep in mind that we are supposed to be enjoying this swap. We all know that life happens and that's just how it goes. Next time don't put so much pressure on yourself !

That cost you alot of money and I wish you would not have felt like you had to do that.
