BYC Spring 2009 Quilt Block Swap Signups CLOSED BLOCKS IN MAIL 4/17

I'm still waiting on my sister, who should have her blocks done this weekend, and then I will ship hers and mine both together.

Crossing my finger that it will be done by Monday!

had to pick up some more accent fabric yesterday it has been washed now to iron and cut. Should be done in a couple days. I could not find any more of the main fabric but I do have some thing else I can use that is on the same lines.

Here's the date info from the swap guidelines:
Blocks due to me: March 21, 2009. Blocks will be swapped and mailed out asap after all are received. I will only wait 5 days for stragglers.

If there are "no shows", I will just send the unswapped/extras (that would have gone to the others) back to their creator with the swapped blocks.

I will update the main swapper list on post #1 with the blocks I have received. Sorry...should have done that sooner.

Got mine done and will mail them Monday. It is flooded here so it is really hard for me to get out but dh will be off Monday and he can take care of it for me.

Amy, I'm a bit confused, are we supposed to send you 19, 20 or 21 blocks. I still see that there are 22 names, but I thought you said we only had to send 19 at one point. I hope to have mine finished and in the mail to you by this coming Wednesday.

Yes, Amy, can you double confirm the number? I'm thinking we need to send you 20 and keep 1, right?

I'm feeling that a HUGE weight has been lifted! I have made so much progress on my blocks today! I've got my "assembly line" going and things are happening quickly!

I'm pleased with how they look and I hope everyone else is too!

I know they will all be awesome!! Just be kind to the rookie here and know that I am learning and getting better with my sewing and piecing all the time, just hope these blocks are not too much in the beginner zone for all of you with so much more experience!!!!
