BYC Spring 2009 Quilt Block Swap Signups CLOSED BLOCKS IN MAIL 4/17

Scrambled I am a beginer as well. I am doing a 9 patch so don't think for a minute that you are not doing good. I am branching out in the BYCville swap and just bought $180 of feet for my sewing machine to do it, I am really happy with the walking foot so far, it is giving me the confedence I need to do more than a 9 patch for my swaps.

I too am not sure any more how many we need to do I think one person dropped out and that is printed on the front page, so I am guessing 21 blocks and 20 sent to Amy.

AT this point, yes, make 21 blocks and send me 20. If any are "no shows" you will just get some of your own blocks back at swap time. Unfortunately, it happens, though I hope not....

Gotta get busy on mine and help FElicity so we can be done by the deadline. Can't have the swap hostess holding things up lol

Hoping to get mine out on Wednesday. I'm going to put my chickens in the coop they keep going across the road, I have to come down stairs and call them back over. So I came on here to see how far behind I am. I know Carla is working on her's today also. Remind me next time NOT to do the card trick block. LOL

Yeah, I looked at that card trick pattern and was not smart enough to figure it out!!! It made a pretty pattern but I am really sort of partial to the 9 patch and the applique myself..probably the easy factor has alot to do with it, lol!!!

OK, I can't believe I'm saying this, but, I'm not done. I will be sending mine overnight to you Amy. I am so sorry. I have been working on them as much as I could. I know you said you would wait 5 days so if I overnight them to you on Monday you will have them within the 5 days. This block would not be so hard if I would have not lost the directions. LOL Really I did. I tried to get them but it says the page has been moved. It's a good think I can remember but it's very time consuming.
