Shipping and Boxing Information

BOXING: All poultry will be boxed according to the weather, so the poultry will have the best chance of survival. Breeds and sexes will be mixed. Unless indicated by you, breeds and sexes will not be marked.

BOXING CHARGE: Add $1.00 service charge for each variety or sex of less than one-fourth box.

BOXING EQUIVALENTS FOR ONE FOURTH OF A BOX:

Chicks, Bantams, Guineas, Pheasants, and Chukar -- 25.
Turkey Poults and Ducklings -- 20.
Goslings -- 8.

SHIPPING DATES: During the months of February through May, IDEAL will be shipping poultry Sunday through Wednesday. IDEAL hatches 52 weeks each year and most shipments will be made on Tuesday and Wednesday during the remaining months.

SPECIAL SERVICES (PER CHICK): In small flocks IDEAL does not recommend having any of these services done to your poultry. Marek's Disease Vaccination (chicks only) 10¢ Debeak 6¢ Dub (clipping comb) 6¢ Dewing 12¢

AIR PARCEL POST (PRIORITY MAIL): Chicks can be safely shipped to all states and Puerto Rico by Air Parcel Post. For shipments to Texas (except zips 798-799), Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Missouri except zips 620 thru 635, there is no air parcel post charge. For all other states and zip codes add 15¢ per Chick, Bantam, Chukar, or Guinea, 20¢ per Turkey Poult or Duckling, and 28¢ per Gosling.

GUARANTEE: We guarantee 100% live delivery of poultry paid for. Please examine the poultry at the time of delivery to be sure they arrived in good condition. If the shipment arrived in poor condition, immediately notify IDEAL and if the shipment was insured, immediately inform your postmaster and complete Postal Form 1000. Every effort will be made to replace your loss. We cannot reship replacements of less than 5: however, the cost of lost products will be refunded. IDEAL MUST BE NOTIFIED BY PHONE OF LOSSES WITHIN 4 DAYS FOLLOWING THE HATCH DATE FOR THIS GUARANTEE TO BE VALID.

**IMPORTANT**
Upon arrival of your baby poultry, read "TIPS FOR TAKING CARE OF BABY POULTRY" which is printed on the back of your invoice. Seller warrants that the poultry described in the order will be in good condition, so far as can reasonably be determined, at the time of delivery by Seller, who has exercised flock control, egg selection, production, and handling methods (including established sanitary and disease control standards) generally accepted in the industry. It is understood, agreed and considered reasonable that THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE POULTRY THAN THOSE SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT, AND SELLER SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANT OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OF THE POULTRY.

The seller's liability for any reason whatsoever shall be limited to the amount paid for the goods or services claimed to be defective, and that in no event shall Seller be held liable for any consequential or incidental damages. By acceptance of the poultry, the Buyer acknowledges that the limitations and disclaimers herein set forth are conditions of the sale, and constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding warranty or other liabilities and the remedy therefore.
