No I’ll just let her and now the muscovy who’s sits in there with her do there thing… if they hatch they hatch if not oh well..

My AC mix did lay, I am going to wait and see if there are any other eggs I want to add to the NY hatch along. So far total is 15 then since I am adding this egg.

I don't advise candling after one day, but if you do, you would see only a red circle. (2 diff eggs, one red circle is bigger than the other.) Most of the time it is slightly bigger than an eraser.

Just saw this contest so won’t be joining, though I do have 9 seabright/Serama eggs collected the last 3 days. I’ve never incubated so have NO idea how it even works. I was given two styrofoam style incubators from my Grandparents estate sale but, as I said, no idea what to do. Haha Not sure I’d want to brood chicks in the Winter anyway. I will enjoy following this contest though and read through the links on how to do this so I’ll be ready come Spring!

I just set chicken eggs on December 11th, didn’t even know about the hatch-along. I’m excited to be part of the group.

Once again, I'm late to the party. A day late in fact. I was tied up all day and night yesterday. I just had 5 eggs come up to temperature a few minutes ago.
