That looks difficult to make. I have troubles forming loaves sometimes. I can't imagine doing an intricate braid and it looking so good.

I've never had baklava. It sounds so delicious.

Phyllo dough with a mixture of crushed nuts and drenched in honey

Never heard of those. What do they taste like. They are gorgeous.

They are flavored with Anise oil.. tastes like licorice. It's a traditional German recipe. They keep a very long time. Hard on the outside moist and chewy inside. My mom loved them and so does my husband. I'm not crazy about them so it's a safe cookie to have in the house!

yes, I make them every year. We call them Russian tea cakes but same thing.
