Yeah I'm realizing my open air runs, which are great for 9 months of the year, aren't so great for raising chicks over winter.Lol, I'm also gonna try to restrain. We just got -3 degree (fahrenheit! Can you believe it?) yesterday night, and weather is so bad recently that I can't even take the Halloween chicks out all day until they're at least 8 weeks old lol. Also all 4 of them turned out to be roosters. Also hawks been visiting every day terrorizing the chickens. Also have 17 chicks arriving in may and our run is desperately too small for 40 future chickens and we have to expand before we get any more chicks..................
