You could candle to see if you can see the chicks are internally pipped and moving.

Here are the 9 babies that hatched on Friday (day 20) I tried to get some cute photos but was a little difficult as one chickie decided to poop on the scarf and my 7 year old daughter proceeded to have a meltdown (it’s her scarf ) all is good and it’s in the washing machine

They are all very lively and are doing great!

Ordered 12 Serama orbs got 18 shipped.
1 egg arrived clearly rotten.
I found another rotten egg a day or 2 into incubation.
Down to 16.
Day 14 I removed 3 that didn’t do anything (infertile? Scrambled from shipping?). Then i also removed 4 quitters.
Day 18 I put the 9 developing eggs on lockdown. 7 were clearly moving 2 were questionable.
Day 19 one pipped right before bed.
Day 20 one hatched right before I left for work. About 5 hatched while I was at work (thank you to my hubby for all the video up dates!) When I got home we watched the rest hatch right before bedtime. (10/29)

Final stats 69% hatch rate if you don’t include the 3 that had no development at 14 days (assuming infertile) 56% if you include.

It was a pleasure joining this Hatch a long with everyone, especially this one I love Halloween

Now time to get ready for taking the kiddos out trick or treating. It’s sunny but with a frigid wind we’re at 39 degrees in NE Washington state.
