Pumpkin Carving Contest

It's not officially Halloween until you have a collection of carved pumpkins, arranged ever so perfectly on your front porch. Pumpkin carving is a fun family activity to get into the Halloween spirit and a great way to express your creativity, regardless of your age. We'd love to see your artistic creations entered for a chance to win a prize. This year there will be two categories, one for poultry-themed carvings and one for traditional carvings, and there will be prizes for both.
How to enter
To submit your entries, simply post your images in this thread.
Photography tips from fellow BYC members:
Rules:
- No maximum number of entries, enter as many as you want.
- An entry is one photo of a pumpkin or set of pumpkins in a dark or semi-dark area with the pumpkin(s) lit from inside.
- PUMPKINS MUST BE CARVED (surface carving is permitted) by you or someone in your immediate family.
- Pumpkin carvings can be original or carved from commercially available stencils, etc.
- Painting and attached decorations are allowed but the pumpkin must be carved too. Remember, this is a carving contest.
- Pumpkins must be real.
- You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest
- The picture needs to have been taken by you.
- Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
- Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
- No screenshots, no collages, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
- Extra consideration for picture quality and creativity!
- ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.

- Entries will be accepted until November 1st, 2022 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
