I swear it looks like the rooster & hen are joined & the chickens, bottom far right, yep they are joined. Kinda disturbing like 3 of my "chicken riding a centaur" were, LOL!

THANX for the welcome back! Things have been crazy!!

For now I have time - not currently working, spouse taking care of the only 3 birds we have at the moment. I have internet access. So, for a bit, yes I'm back.

If I return to work, even part time, at first, will be exhausting. So may disappear again for a while... We'll see how next Ortho appointment goes (broke & dislocated left ankle on 2/25, sx put off due to infection, then developed blood clot that went from ankle to groin, sx finally done, hospital stay 3/11 - 3/25, rehab for 30 days, been home since 4/25. Still on non-weight bearing status w/ a boot, but starting to get around) on 6/11. May still be very limited due to possible complication(s) w/ blood clot.

Life has been "off " since got home from MT in July of 2021... Serious health issues after 2 week "covid cold" in June 2022. Hoping to return SOMEWHAT to normal soon...

Bird numbers went up for a bit last year w/ dreams & plans, then was rear ended & dealing with bad concussion. Returned to work after 2 weeks when cleared by DR, but dealt w/ debilitating headaches for months. Once again, I lost birds in the heat last fall (my fault, rookie mistake - guilt part of headaches?), sold or gave away rest of flocks before Christmas. My last 2 older (27 & 22) ponies passed over Christmas - age & 2nd depressed @ losing her pasture mate. Also hard to deal with. Other than work of burying them, spent a huge part of 2 weeks literally in bed. Currently only have 3 birds - 1 hen just started laying...

I've enjoyed "re-joining" BYC... THANX for the welcome back.

Time line off, but chose not to cut/paste into proper spots. It's long & don't want to lose any.
