Where the heck would we start? We have 92 of the most spoiled pampered chickens. Most are hand trained. Some will climb all over us when in their pens. Every time we walk out the door they all think we are bringing them treats. We pop fresh popcorn for them every day. We sit and visit with them at least 6 times a day. We rotate hens in and out of the breeding pens so that no one hen ever gets over worked. We pull weeds and rake leaves just special to give them. Of 92, 57 are named. I keep expanding their pens so that they never feel crowded. When we drive in the driveway, they will all start cackling to welcome us home. We dress some of them in costumes. They all get their nails trimmed regularly. We have inlaws that drive miles just to bring them fresh grass clippings. They get all the leftovers from meals. We have 5 that insist on going to visit grandma. They all get tucked in every night. We are constantly changing things in their pens to make them more comfortable such as their nesting boxes. Some come in the house and run around. Some get to go for walks. We have two guard dogs to protect them from predators. We have 4 that like to have their sides tickled. We have a huge Delaware roo that loves to be snuggled. We have an Ameraucana roo that is in love with my wife and will even do the mating dance for her. We have constructed 4 broody pens specially designed for quiet and comfort so they are not disturbed when setting. So this truely is The Pampered Pullets Farm.
