Why do I feel like your baiting me?

A grid of 100 one foot squares were laid out. Patrons would 'buy' squares (place bets). A chicken would be released onto the grid and whoever's grid she pooped on would win the prize.

I honestly didn't know! It certainly sounds like southern entertainment though.

That's true. I spent almost 16 years in the mountains of north east Tennessee. We had heavy snow every winter. I never had an accident.
I moved back Texas and there was rare heavy snow my 2nd year home. Someone totaled my car while it was sitting in a mall parking lot.

This was something that we did for the School fetes back when my kids were like 25yrs younger - only it was a Pony not a chicken.
