Many, many years ago, I ran into an old school acquaintance. I asked her how far along she was. Turns out she was not pregnant. I've never asked anyone that question again.

I can do you one better, I asked a friend how far along she was, she had delivered 4 months ago
Now I got smarter, I asked my son if my daughter-in-law was pregnant ( she wasn’t ) and he told me a co worker had asked HER the same question
