I don’t think we have bears in East Texas…though I think it would be interesting if we did!

Looks like you may have some along the lower Sabine River.
Ours are making a comeback along the Tensas/ Atchafalaya Basins.
Not on the map but they're also in the Pearl River basin on the southern LA/MS border.

Yeah, y'all can have the BIG bears.
We have enough with the black bears and alligators.

South Texas has macaques. MACAQUES. I am never going anywhere near Dilley. Or Silver Springs, Florida - for the same reason.
