Never? Never have a sweet ducky to come racing when it sees you, never have a webbed darling nibble on your pants and make you laugh? Never a dux to watch scooting around eating bugs?

Well I used to take the kids down the road to feed the wild ducks, until I read here that bread wasn't all that good for them. So yea...I guess I do like them, just would never have any as pets.

Let me confess something... Two years ago I swore there'd never be another webbed beast in my coop... All I had were flighty mallard crosses and near-feral Swedes. I didn't like them at all. Then I ran into the BYC duck group, and the rest is history... I discovered how sweet ducks can really be when raised right.
