It is like Facebook, you can post what ever you want. It is kinda like a public message just you don't go to the other person's profile to answer.

Nope, just tried that

A status is pretty much just a profile post. If you post on your own profile, your "status" will show up not only as a profile post, but also on the top of your profile and on your member card.

I really like the privacy settings on BYH.

I'm not technologically savvy so have to wait for DH to get home and explain this all to me! The last couple weeks BYC hasn't been compatible with Firefox or my Chrome so maybe this change is the reason? Anyway, hope all the bugs work out because I'm old and change from the familiar is hard for me. GL, y'all.
