BYC's Software Conversion - Discussion & Information

I can't handle a lot of steps and foll-de-roll to get here....I used Google on my iPhone, came to BYC, tapped the little "add to home screen" thingy and now all I have to do is touch the icon on my screen and I'm here, pre-logged in and ready to go. Same on my iPad. Screen shots for me are trickier. I bring up the screen, grab my phone, take a photo of it, and then it appears on my computer. Magic. Unless I'm on my phone...then I can just hit the power and the home buttons at the same time and it's in my photos. Just lazy here, I guess. I am old, and easily confused.......

Wow, you are my hero! I finally own a "smart" phone but I have surmised it is far smarter than I, sigh. Some of us old dogs are not as adept at learning new tricks.

Okay, I have a "really don't like" thing to mention about the "alert" tab. When the alerts come up, they are color coded kinda sorta more or less. As soon as I bring my cursor down, they all instantly change and look exactly like the read ones. How do I know where to start when I can't figure out which ones I haven't read yet?

People answered about the key on the computer keyboard. If you're on a mobile device, it's different. For mobile devices, you'll have to google to find how it's done on your specific device. On my phone, I can do it two ways: swipe sideways with the side of my palm, or press and hold the home and power button simultaneously. On my tablet, I press the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

There is not a new app yet.
I had quite a bit of trouble last night with the site..
try to clean your "history" on your phone and open the site in the browser again.
See if it works for your his am.

OK, i got in this morning. It's an awkward layout on my phone. A large brown bar takes up a lot of screen real estate.
