Specifically, will the "I've Posted" option be somewhere....and where would it be, if so?

If you go through the forum sections, you'll see a mini overlay of your avatar on the side over the avatar of the thread starter, on all the threads you've posted on. Like this (see the 1st, second and 4th ones?:



The little blue dot there shows when there are unread posts on that thread. If you click on the dot it will take you straight to the new posts.

Kind of scary changing but change is good most of the time......after you get used to it. Thanks BYC staff for all your hard work!

If you go to the forums tab - there's a list at the top of the page for selections - selected either Watched Forums or Watched Threads and it shows a list with the blue dot or if no unread posts, it tells you so. ( I would post screen shot, but have never learned how to do that )

If anyone is worried about the change, do go and set an account to explore: posts are so quick and easy, uploading pics, attachments are also quick and easy.

I use my desktop to upload pics - had to use the "more options" and it works really nicely.

Honestly I was pouty with the announcement, but am embracing the new format

I hate using my cell, I can only post short sentences and it takes an hour to type them and they look like a 7 year old wrote them with all the errors.

Unless, I hook up a keyboard by Bluetooth to the phone, but then I might as well be on a screen my old eyes can see.

My 7 year old write excellent..
it's my 13 year old that writes the exact way you describe....and she does it on purpose.

Ralphie...where do you call home on BYC...I need to visit your grounds more often..
