I'm still working on my Spring Block Swap. Once I'm done with those blocks, then my attention will turn to BYCville! Can't wait!!!

Good grief was I ever ambitious with the applique!!! I am a bit SICK (

) of hand sewing interfacing to teeny little beaks and wattles and wings!!!!! Can you say...LABOR INTENSIVE?!!! Wow, the applique is cool but 20 at once, whew, won't do that again!

I would probably say that I am 1/3 done with all them so hopefully I will make the deadline. Can't wait to see ya'll's blocks!!!!

LOL!!!! At least you have a whole one done!!! We might need to negotiate an extention!! I swear I work on these chickens every single day....ugh, need to do some frogs or crickets, lol!!!

Here is my progress to date on my chicken blocks(I have 20 of these done to this point at least!) .....

& the "guts", lol!!..all the yet to be finished pieces!!!..

I am with you, SE. Some of these blocks of applique may require a bit of a time extention.

I love the applique but for 20 blocks, had I known the labor intensity...man oh man...cutting pieces and sewing by machine would have been a thousand times easier...learning hard lessons here, lol!!! I am gonna work on drawing out a block pattern that is easy to make that looks like a chicken...several people on here do nice ones, I really want "easy" though, haha!! But, yeah, Amy, maybe the end of May instead? I swear I am working on them everyday and making such little progress I am not sure I can make that deadline!!
