How about moving the due date to May 29? Would that help everyone? I just wanted to get them in and back out before Memorial Day...and summer. But, it seems 2 more weeks would help everyone.

SE You could have done satin stitch or zigzag instead of hand sewing. As long as the edges are turned under so they don't fray through years of washing, machine applique is fine here.

I think the extra two weeks are perfect, gracias!!!

I would have to be alot more adept at using the sewing machine to feel confident enough for my stitches to show like that on the outside, I am gonna practice that for the future but not on something like this I would ruin...still wearing the yellow rookie stripe on my fender here, lol!!!

If I've done this right, Here's a practice barn square. I need to make more of a border for seam allowance and I'm going to try different colored thread or clear thread around the edges. Hope it meets people's expectations...

I am sooooo starting over!!!! I saw the cutest two piece applique on ebay that I am going to copy and make for my chicken blocks!!! I might finish before Christmas with these!!!!
