I agree that if Blossom would still like to do hers and stay involved she should be able to do that. I don't mind waiting for hers to come.

Otherwise hopefully we can find someone else to step in. Is there anyone you know of that wanted to participate and missed getting in ?

I have 22 almost made so I am ok with sending a block to Blossom and waiting or having someone take her place. I will still send a block to Blossom as well.

It would be pretty easy to just make the 20, send them to Amy and let her send them to Blossom..if that is the group's wishes..I would like to include her but alos don't want to be unfair to everyone else...so I'll do whatever the group decides

Remember those appliques I wanted off ebay? Well, I got them..try not to laugh too hard!! They are cute as can be but ooooohhhh sooo small!!!

Must have been a great angle to take a pic from and I am so glad I didn't wait to draw a pattern off them!!!!
Here are most of my cut out ones and one totally finished one, yay!!

I got brave and did a cute little machine embroidery stitch on the heart!! My daughter's machine has only about 11 stitches on it and this was one I thought was cute!!

I would wait for Blossom but only if she feels up to it and not pressured. And MP was so right about your block in the last swap being one of the prettiest Blossom

Darlene...Those are just too cute! I love your chickens. You have worked so hard on them and it shows. Good job!

I'm ok either way, either waiting for Blossom or adding someone else. I could make an extra block to send to her. I wouldn't want to put pressure on her though. I hope you heal quickly, Blossom.

The thing is some might want to finish their quilt sooner rather than later and they would need an even number for that. I'm OK with whatever is decided though.

I'll go ahead a go with the group, if Blossom feels that it isn't to much for her to do, I can wait. If we need to find someone to replace her that is fine with me too.

Thank ya'll about my chickens, you sure have been patient with me in my learning to sew/quilt/applique!!

I now have two completely finished. Yay!!!

Blossom still has 2 full months to get her blocks done and most breaks are healed in 6 - 8 weeks so maybe near the end when she is less dependent on pain killers and able to walk around a bit in her casts, she will feel stir crazy enough to actually want to do her blocks. She really has so much time left I feel she can get them done, hope she thinks so too. Maybe Amy someone can call her and talk with her or at least wait until she can pm. On the other hand, someone else may have an emergency in the next two months so why not bring in another person anyway? Sure wouldnt hurt and we could integrate the block or save one for another quilt or it just might make the difference in 19 and 20 anyhow..surely someone else wanted in? Jody? Piecemaker? Kycks?....

O.K. I am really hoping that these are good enough for the BYCville swap. I wasn't even going to post a pic of them, but I have to know.

Tell me what you think of the School-House block. These are the 2 that I have done and if they are good enough I will continue on with the other 18.

There are 24 pieces to each block and that includes the border. Each one will have a different border.
