I'm kind of excited with the way it turned out! It really might be that I'm just excited that after the fight I had with trying to get something to turn out, that it actually turned out!

I can't wait to do the stitching to see how much that adds to it. The dk. browns will be done it white and the red in red, the orange in orange, and the yellow in yellow.

Stacy love that chicken. Boy some of those patterns will just drive ya nuts glad Hubby made ya one you can work with.


Maybe Hubby should start designing blocks to sell, those in the quilt stores are about $9 a pop some are even more.

To everyone in the exchange, I want to start with an apology for having to drop out of this. I fell Saturday morning and broke both bones in my right ankle. I am home from hospital with plates and screws in the bones and will be in bed for next ten days and am looking at "best case scenario" getting a walking boot in six weeks and maybe getting out of it in about ten or twelve weeks, per the surgeon when he dismissed me. Stopped by the computer on my way to bed to let you all know that I am so sorry, but I have thought about this all weekend and just don't think I can possibly complete this under the circumstances. I hope that there is someone who can step in and take my place. I'll miss lurking and reading and hope to be back on line some in a couple of weeks.
