I am ashamed to say this, but I only have one block done so far. I have been so busy with building coops, hatching eggs, trying to get my oldest graduated, baseball, the garden, and my new puppy I haven't even had time to think much less work on these blocks. I am going to finish making a pen for my momma broody and her babies today, then I hope and pray I will get some time to sit down and work on these blocks. I think you all will be pleased with them in the end, it's just finding the time to get them done now.

Just learned paper piecing tonight and now I am thinking of starting to use this technique for the rest of my blocks. Will this be O.K. with everyone? Amy?

I never knew paper piecing would be so easy.

Thanks again Amy for hosting the swap, it has been fun and I have learned soooooo much about sewing!!! Wait until ya'll see two of the blocks I made for the May swap..pinwheels!! I was practicing for Jody's swap and all my points match, whoo hooo!!!! My husband was so impressed, he said they were so pretty!! I said "hmmmph, you didn't say one word about my CHICKEN blocks!!!!"
