So I was given a dozen eggs from someone here locally and I didn't get a chance to ask her what was what so I thought I'd do a little guessing game since today is day nine, all the eggs I could see look good, and I'm impatient! This is my first time incubating so I'm definitely getting the jitters.

The lady who gave me the eggs has the following hens: bcm, polish, silver laced red wyandotte, olive egger, isa brown, '''ameracauna''', swedish isbar, and tolbunt frizzle. Two of the eggs are a very pale blue tint and I'm 99.9% certain the darkest two are bcm eggs. Any guesses on the others? Or is there even a way to get an idea based just on this?

Yes, within normal variations:
bcm, your dark brown
polish, white
silver laced red wyandotte, light cream to tan
olive egger, dark olive green, various shades
isa brown, usually a pretty red-brown (like a clay pot) or chesnut brown, darker than RIR
'''ameracauna'' blue
swedish isbar, blue
and tolbunt frizzle, white

Oh that's good to know!

I've been putting bets on what that one large tan egg is as it's a lot bigger than any of the others. I thought maybe it was an isa brown.

I'm sure you are aware that just because the hen of the breed laid the egg, that's not what's coming out unless your friend has separate breeding pens for all those breeds (and the ISA Brown hybrid).

What's coming out will be a barnyard mix of the hen and the rooster(s) she has on the place.

We can have some guesses as to what they should look like, within some limitations, if we know the rooster.

If there are a number of roosters free ranging with hens, then it's a lot harder.

Oh yeah! I'm mostly trying to guess which hens laid them for fun while I wait!

But I do know she only has two roosters, a tolbunt polish and a silver laced red wyandotte.
