Noted. I will be coming; just not sure if I am bringing anything. I may end up bringing 4 hens.

Hi!!! Any eggs from the new girls yet? I hope those aren't the ones you might be bringing.

Perhaps a dumb question but is there an source of electricity near by (I plan on bringing fairly young chicks)? I have long extension cords and clamp lighting for heat.

Any problem getting tables? If so, I seem to have a six foot folding table "somewhere" in my attic or storage shed.

I am pretty sure there will be power. I will find out Tuesday. There are also a few tables available, but if you have your own it would be appreciated.

Gail, I was wondering the same thing. If there is no electricity available, the best I can think of is to leave chicks in the backseat of the truck with the heat blasting.
Or isn't there some kind of converter you can use to plug stuff in. (I say *you* but mean *we* ).

Any takers on lunch? I can arrange subs or pizza or anything else as a consensus? Plan on $5.50/ person. Or we can even make it a pot luck lunch? What do ya'll think? This is supposed to be a fun and educational get together.

I've got a 100 ft extension cord plus a couple fifty footers! Also have a surge protector for multiple plugins. Buyers usually have their own cage or box but maybe Sam's or tsc will have some!
OH, HERE'S A GLIMPSE OF MY BABY AT 7 WKS!! WE HAD OUR FIRST SONOGRAM LAST WEDNESDAY

Hi! It would be a good idea for anyone thinking of buying to bring a crate / box / cage (or someone who doesn't mind a lap-full of chickens on the ride home, haha).
I've got a couple of cases of 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" boxes and some 12" x 12" x 8" boxes I can bring for chicks and young birds, but need to start scrounging for larger boxes --- just in case.
In fact, I'm going to be scrounging for cages to *bring* birds in.
