I guess not. She is very likely a Wheaten Ameraucana. We noticed she was different than the others. Poor thing broke her leg in the summer. We babied her and she's healed now, but does a funny hop-along. She likes to tuck herself between 2 cinder blocks, under the food bucket, and sleep there all night. Go figure!

ETA: She hatched out of a dark brown egg, so I don't know.

I got a new egg yesterday

from my olive egger that had been injured. I had considered culling her, but look at what the good girl gave me after months of waiting. It's the blue/green one in the front.

Hi Penny! I don't know how that works exactly, it looks like she didn't inherit any of the brown egg gene at all.
Between the blocks under the bucket is a silly, but I guess safe, place to sleep. Good job fixing the leg.
