CA Anyone???

We are about an hour southeast of Palm Springs...It literally takes me 45 minutes to get to Wal-Mart.

We used to live in San Diego and Palm Springs. I am originally from Kansas and the inner country girl in me decided she wanted chickens.

I would love a lot more animals too if I were allowed to have them.

It takes me 30 minutes or more for me to get there also. If I want to do shopping for clothing fabric or buy clothes it's a 75 mile-89 mile drive depending on whether I go south or west. Luckily we have two quilt shops in town. I love it though. The mountains are lovely. China Lake Navy Base is about 13 miles away. I hope someday my grandson will get transferred here but I doubt it.
