CA Anyone???

I am enjoying all the posts ( now been reading for an hour) We are in Vista CA where my twelve Marans hens have blessed me with thirty chicks but only four from my broody.

Morgan Hill here (just South of San Jose). Grew up in Orange County (SoCal). Loved it down there, love it up here! Any other South Bayers out there? Where do you recommend for feed? Getting my first chicks in 2 weeks!

I'm in Fresno! Working with a group and we're trying to change the city ordinances to be backyard chicken friendly. We've started a page on FaceBook "Central California Local Urban Chicken Keepers (CCLUCK)" We've had our first meeting and have scheduled our next one for Saturday, June 18th, 9-11 am Uncle Harry's Bagelry, Fig Garden, Palm & Shaw. Looking for other sites too, to make the request for people who would like to join us.
