CA FIRE CRAZINESS!

Smoke is literally blocking out the sun.

Atmosphere is so full of ash and smoke it burns your eyes! In 29 years I have never experienced this before. I have a friend in the Nevada says her cars were covered in ash. I’ve heard from other sources you can see the smoke in Utah and Wyoming! Thought it would be interesting to share.

I’m in central, so it’s not too crazy here, but there’s a noticeable haze and you can barely see stars.

We have had smoke a lot since the first of July. They Yolo Fire was close to Woodland. Today there was ash on the cars and streets. For us it is coming from the Mendocino fire that moved towards clear lake.

Eyes are burning and it is hard to breathe here. I have seen this before but not every year.

I’m pretty sure the smoke near me was coming from the Mendocino fire too. Is that the one burning near Clearlake?

Yes! The fire moved into clearlake and is the second fire causing evacuations there in two weeks. Clearlake is about 45 miles from us
