CHeck your state's department of agriculture website to find out the requirements for importing (live) chickens.

Virginia requires all hatching eggs, chicks, and birds to come in from an NPIP flock that is certified AI Free and MG Free.

I cannot ship to VA, WV or UT because of this.

What is MG? That's a new abbreviation to me.

Quote:MG is Mycoplasma gallispectum, aka CRD (Chronic Respiratory Disease.) PurpleChicken and I both had to cull our whole flocks after contracting this disease. Personally, I wouldn't deal with a hatchery that wasn't certified clean of it, it's a nightmare, trust me. [IMG]
