CACKLE HATCHERY A BIG NO-NO!!!!!

I ordered from Cackle Hatchery this summer and recieved wonderful birds, I have nothing but good to say about their customer service. I called and spoke to a couple different people before ordering, asking questions about different breeds and temperments and such, and they were always very kind and patient answering all my questions. When I placed my order, they all arrived within 3days and were very healthy. I will use them again. I'm sorry you had such problems.

First of all this thread is two years old!

I have ordered from Cackle two years in a row and I will not order from anyone else. Their customer service is AMAZING. They are helpful and friendly and very very pro customer.

My chicks this year got routed incorrectly and I lost several chicks. They replaced them, gave me extras and credit on my order!!!!

Yes, they are hard to get through on the phone during peak spring ordering, but you must be patient. You will talk to a live person. They are great over there!!

Here is another positive vote for Cackle. Two orders this year. I will order again next year.

I recently palced an order with cackle for 25 dark cornish and 10 dellies. I only got the dellies and notation on my shipping slip to "call customer about substitution". I had to call them to find out what was going on,odd thing is that I called while they were in transit to see if that had shipped,they didn't mention anything then.

Turns out they had a bad hatch and it was the last one for the year, so they substituted 15 more dellies and 10 buff orps at my request instead of a refund.

Not the best communication, but they fixed the situation and the dellies I did get (They sent 11 on my ordered 10) were all in great shape.

I will be ordering from them next year.

Have always had good luck with Cackle. This year however they called and told me that their hatch of Silver Laced Polish did not hatch as well as expected and would I take a substitute. My newphew answered the call and okayed it for me and they sent me the splash polish in place of them. The few times I've called they have answered the phone took a few rings sometimes but over all they had great cuctomer service.
