Cackle Hatchery no longer ships to VA

Why not just use a hatchery in the state of Virginia; shipping time will be shorter and less stressful for the chicks.

I know Privett Hatchery ships to Virginia as well and their chicks are most generally very healthy.

I have in the past ordered through my local feed store, here we get chicks from Ideal, but sometimes going through a feed store is cheaper in the long run. Last year I just wanted 9 chicks of specific breeds and it ended up costing less than ordering myself.
