Cackle Hatchery Problems?

I've read so many bad reviews about Cackle online (just google them, hard to miss). But I didn't check up on them until after I placed an order. They say 10 days until they can give you a shipping date, but I just asked at day 7 and they were able to tell me "mid- may or later." Which, is not so bad I guess. I'm just a little frustrated with their professionalism. I mean, they don't answer all of my questions when I email, and they give me one line, non-punctuated answers. Not that punctuation matters.. it just makes me wonder who is really answering me?

Please someone comfort me. Tell me I'm not going to have one of these nightmares people have had with them. I should have never looked up reviews.

SERIOUSLY? I just got another email from them and they ignore all of my questions and gave me a two word 'sentence.' Are they even reading the entire 3-4 sentence email I send them? It's rude. I run my own online business (not ag related) and I would never answer my customers like this. I'm, unfortunately, starting to regret this already.
 
I have an order due to arrive tomorrow with 50 delaware pullets and 6 Cockerels total 56. It has been hard to contact them by phone a few times but they have answered my questions well over the phone. This is the first order from a hatchery I have ever done but I'm hoping for all alive and healthy!

I received my Cackle order early Wednesday morning and all of my chicks are doing very well. So I have no complaints with them. Except they were hard to get hold off on the phone but they are probably VERY busy right now, I would think. Hope everything goes alright with your order, too!
 
Got all my peeps (16) from them really healthy, really soon, they just failed to tell me they had substituted my Cochin for POLISH. One week old and all are very well. Haven't tried to contact them, but from all I've read, they have great stock but bad customer relations. Don't know what to say, man. No dead chicks on arrival, or good response time. It seems to be a trade off...

We always order from Cackle and have nothing but good luck. Forget emails, call them the day they say they'll ship them to confirm the shipment, then pester your post office. This year, they didn't come in early enough to make it our local PO, so we just went over to the distribution center & picked them up. I knew they'd be there.

Our chicks are always healthy & growthy. No complaints.
