Cackle Hatchery Surprise Box

I was thinking about buying a Cackle Hatchery Surprise box and raising the chicks until 20 weeks and selling them for about $20. I would keep my 10 favorite for my flock. IS this a good idea? IF you have bought this will you comment what you recieved like breeds .

I think that is a great idea. Add to your flock, get surprise baby chicks, and maybe make a little profit!! I have never bought a mystery assortment, but I've always wanted to try.

Problem is that there's usually roosters and I really, reAlly don't think you'll get much if anything for them

You could always butcher them and fill your freezer with homegrown meat!
