Cackle hatchery's Hatchery Surprise- Anybody got this before?

They send them in a 4 segment box. The geese were on one side the chicks divided on the other 3. The ducks were actually about the size of the large chicks. The only thing I kind of wish they had done was to seperate out the bantams. I had one get smooshed.

OSU, I have pictures of them in the box on page 20.

I had a two section box because everyone was relatively the same size.

Scbatz, I think maybe they didn't seperate the banties because of heat? I don't know. Mine were all mixed too.

ok, finally here they are. Of course they are a bit over a week old now. Also, The geese have gone to their home and I re-homed the dozen bantams....

Bourbon red turkey I ordered

I got 3 of these blue slate turkeys in the hatchery surprise

Here's the mix of the rest...

Got a pair of Khaki Campbells in "HS"

I got 6 of these....

2of these - one is way more yellow than the other but I'm thinking Buff Orp - #1

One fat little black one

one black one with brown dots on side of head

and 2 plain black ones

I just joined the site and read this thread and am sooo tempted. Do you think its getting to late in the season for these babies? I'm new with chickens so I'm not sure this many at once would be a good thing.
