Cackling Geese?Canada Geese?

I had a similar thread a while back:

From looking at the hatcheries people recommended, I can tell you that Stromberg's has cackling geese and they also have Canada Geese as goslings. Metzer Farms sells Canada Goslings as well but when I contacted them, they said it was a year wait to get them. I never asked for clarification of whether that meant next year or the year after since they are only in season so long.

McMurray Hatchery still has some available now but they are juveniles and cost quite a bit to ship. I am planning on getting some next year. I would love to hear more about them if anyone else has either variety.

Thanks Dorothy! I really miss her, Shes been gone two summers now.

Ohh!!! I cant wait to get some now, i just hope that getting them doesnt empty my wallet.

Ok,well my mom loves canada geese - so i thought I might get some cackling geese come next spring. So , Does anyone have experience with them? Anyone know where I could find some eggs or day olds? I don't no where to get them but cackling geese are better but don't get them pinned

Arent they a smaller version of Canada geese or would a canada goose jsut be better? Im worried about getting a canda goose because it might run off with all the wild ones that come around.

( btw - Im also getting some mutt geese as well as maybe some africans)
