So if they go broody you can't stop it? Also when do they normally go broody, at what age and do they do it all year or in the spring?Some hens will. Most will steal eggs from the other hens to sit on and some would march around clucking until you get tired of them and give them some eggs. LOL If you give a broody a golf ball she'll sit on it too. Some members here who don't have roosters to fertilise the eggs, give their broodies fake eggs to sit on for 3 weeks and then replace then with chicks.
