When giving the equate calcium and vitamin d3 supplement do you just give the tablet to them crushed up or can you put it in water and let it dissolve first?

You can give them the pill whole, just pull down gently in her wattles to open her beak and pop it in. She will swallow it

Agree. I find it easiest and safest to do this at night when they've gone to roost. Saves chasing and trying to catch; if it's as hot where you are as it is where I am you could end up with a bird dead from heat stroke.

Thanks, this tablet is huge. Just to see what would happen - I did put it in some water and they are drinking it. Will also try your suggestion tonight. Thanks again!!!
