Calculating Protein Percentages of Eggs and Peas

Milk will be a good one since there should be lots of information available! Lets go there. :D

Is there any way to set a poll at the beginning of the thread?! :pop

But for right now lets stick to powdered eggs for a moment.

This source says 1 cup has 176 calories out of 505 being from protein. That about 34%...http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/121/2

This source says dry eggs are about 48% protein by weight... https://www.aeb.org/food-manufacturers/research-resources/nutrient-composition-tables

But 48 g X 4 calories = 184 protein calories out of 592 total is about 32%. :barnie

So which is it peeps??? I vote an AVERAGE of 33% protein from fresh eggs.

Thanks I'm on the rode road (autocorrect:barnie) today...which means I am stuck on my phone and can't research well from it.
I can't wait to be back in front of my computer again to help here.

I have some of both, I did some basic livestock nutrition in school and have done some research on my own.
Why do you ask?

Also I think another thing one needs to think about on this subject is TDN or Total Digestible Nutrition.
How we digest the nutrition of a egg is quite different than how poultry digests the nutrition of a egg.
