Have you turned off and back on again?

Seriously, rebooting your system will clear your RAM.

And that amazingly worked haahaa!!! Ty very much! We had 2 bobwhites.. But one escaped and didn't come home. So we left with 1. We have 1 cali girl.. Lucy and 2 boys. We did have 3, but 1 got very aggressive so we had to cull him.

Ok, that explains the color variation....a female Texas A&M Bob and a male Valley.
A cross between a Northern Bob and a Valley will result in the chicks having stripes not the tuxedo appearance.
The A&M Bob's are not really Bobwhites, they are a strain of Coturnix quail, that were developed/bred by a professor at Texas A&M University....thus the name, Texas A&M Bobwhites. Their 'phenotype' is closer to a Bob than a Cot, so the misnomer Bobwhite stuck!

It's very healthy and happy. What's been wrong with urs?
Don't know if it's a lethal gene or not but many would pip and die, some would hatch but die a day or two later and others would be fine for a couple of weeks, they appeared to have 'failure to thrive' syndrome.
This was with both Valleys and Blue Scale crossed with Bobwhites.

Seeing how your chick isn't a true Bob x Valley cross, might be the reason it is thriving....old world genes mixed with new world genes...two seperate species, so, I would expect it to be a hybrid and sterile as well.
A&M Bob's are mixture of English Whites and Coturnix and for all practical purposes are Coturnix quail.

Wild populations of Bobwhites and Blue Scaled quail with a cross (hybrids) have been known to exist since 1890. It is usually a 'one and done' deal, as the hybrids are sterile.

That doesn't make sense because you guys say that old world and new world don't mix, however we had zero issues with putting them together. Granted they were born together, but they did have seperstion for about 4 weeks then it took 3 days for her to resettle, but no violence? We were told she was a white bobwhite... Never heard of this one that u say she is. When we brought her she was sold to us as a northern bobwhite... But they both came out white. So looked it up and it came up as a white bobwhite. So we have just got some English white cortinex eggs to introduce with the baby jumbos later. However the eggs are weird for whites.... I'll take a photo and see what u think. I think in England there are huge issues regarding what u are told and what u are sold!! We also have some cali eggs in there and more elsa eggs. Little Larry is now a week old and still looking awesome. But will keep an eye. If it fails we won't hatch any more. Just eat the eggs. But would love to have them survive. Xx

So the ones within the pink line are the English white cortinex eggs.
Those look like Coturnix eggs, so if that’s what the breeder told you, they seem accurate. White birds don’t just come from/produce white eggs, bobwhite eggs are more white/cream and plain, and Coturnix have a wide variation of spots and speckles, some have tiny blackish spots, some big brown blotches, celadons that are blue with little or no spots.
