ummmm..
I think I do not know how to wash a chicken. I was taking picture of my silkied sizzle (frilkie) for teh bay area thread and noticed shes got crud all over her face and crest. So I tried to was it.....

Blowdrying was not a sucess. I was afraid i drowning her when i washed the crest so I don't know if I got all the shampoo out, and now I have a chicken with a dry spiky mohawk?

I don't sell my eggs but rather just gift them to neighbors but I love presenting them in clear eco containers, just for that reason!

Looks Like you were correct! Another Bresse egg today....pullet egg, I went ahead and cracked it open....this time on Purpose...FERTILE!
